Rosa Parks: Thank You

In 1956, Rosa Parks's arrest and the bus boycott that followed was big news!

1913-2005

For those who have not heard yet, Rosa Parks died yesterday at her home in Detroit! Mrs. Parks is credited as a key figure in the Civil Rights Movement! Detroit was fortunate enough to be blessed with Rosa Parks residing in its city for as long as she did!

  • Well I know that she did something great, but sometimes I would say dang, they are over doing it. But I guess you had to be there to fully understand. Not really feeling that sitting at the back of the bus thing, unless I wanted to.
