A Cause United

Okay, so it's one of those rare weekends in the state of Michigan where Michigan State football fans should be rooting for Michigan! No, I haven't slipped and bumped my head either! I mean, c'mon! What else does State actually have to play for??

Here are the facts:

1. Michigan State started the season off great!
   
2. The beat Notre Damn, who's ranked in the top ten now!
   
3. They loss to Ohio State!
   
4. They get to ruin Penn State's chance at the Big Ten title!
   
5. Their slim hopes of a bowl game appearance depends on a win against Penn State! Okay, so maybe hope is all ready gone for a bowl game, but damn it have some pride about yourselves!! (so that last line was a rather opinionated rant...but, come on Spartans, win one for the...just win)

Yeah, I'm a Michigan fan first, but I don't root against the Spartans, not even in the head to head game, unless the Wolverines are the underdog. Hey, I just like to see a good game between the two teams!


So, if you Spartans do your job and beat Penn State, and you Wolverines kick the crap out of Ohio State, at least the state of Michigan can save face in this crazy college football world.

The Spartans can also boast how they beat two teams ranked in the top ten!
The Spartans can boast on how they beat the Champion of the Big Ten...okay, so they loss to two of the other Co-Champions...but that's just a mere technicality!!

Oh yeah, Ohio State sucks!!! Go Wolverines. and Spartans!!!! I really mean it!
